Our Future is as bright as our Past

Volcanoes team and staff celebrate 2011 championship win in their old league, the IBL.

Decades of Greatness

The Vancouver Volcanoes were founded in 2005 and played in the well-respected International Basketball League (IBL), winning the championship in 2011. Despite being embraced by the community, the Volcanoes became inactive after the IBL ceased operations in 2014.

In 2020, the team made it’s return to professional basketball joining The Basketball League (TBL), where they now look to further their development in their 5th season as part of the TBL.
