Volcanoes Win Against Superhawks in Hard Fought Match
In a battle between two unbeaten teams who made the playoffs last season, the Vancouver Volcanoes scored a massive early season victory against the Superhawks in Seattle Thursday Night. This is the first time the Volcanoes beat the Superhawks behind Thomas Miles’s season debut of 22 points. How massive this victory was is an understatement.
The Superhawks went 22-4, while the Volcanoes went 8-15 in the regular season last season. The Superhawks made the regional finals eternally falling to the eventual champions Potawatomi Fire whom our starting point guard Rashaun
Coleman played for last season while the Volcanoes lost in the first round.
Next is the home opener against the Salem Capitals at 7 p.m. Friday at Clark College. The Volcanoes are looking to rebound from their first-round loss to the Capitals. Let’s pack the house for the home opener!! Looking forward to seeing our wonderful fans for the first time at home!!!
