Volcanoes fall to the Superhawks on the Road in Tough Mid-Week Battle
What a game between the 6-1 Vancouver Volcanoes and the 5-3 Seattle SuperHawks on a rainy Thursday night in April. The Volcanoes dug themselves a hole in the first half, losing by 67-48 at halftime. However, they made a massive comeback, especially in the fourth quarter, where they outscored the SuperHawks 46-28. However, the Volcanoes ultimately fell short, losing 131-122.
Even in a loss, there were bright spots such as not giving up in the second half, two players scoring 30 points, aka Thomas Miles and Markus Golder, and Vincent Boumann in his season debut, having a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. The Volcanoes are looking to get back to winning ways this Saturday at 7 PM when they face the Wenatchee Bighorns. Saturday’s game will be played at Hudson’s Bay High School, and tickets are 10 dollars. Let’s pack Hudson Bay and cheer on the Volcanoes!!
