About the Volcanoes:
The Vancouver Volcanoes are a professional basketball club in the TBL (The Basketball League). 2024 marks their 3rd season in this league, playing in the Western Conference among teams from Oregon, Washington, and Montana. The Volcanoes will host 10 home games, and play 10 away games, with their season spanning March through May.
Community outreach in the surrounding area of Vancouver is a major focus of the Volcanoes. The Volcanoes run both weekly Youth Clinics, and longer multi-day Youth Camps during school breaks, all focused on teaching basic fundamental basketball skills. Clinics and Camps are coached and run by Volcanoes Players and Coaches, helping kids get exposed to a more unique learning experience. The Volcanoes have also partnered with 8 local non-profit organizations in the Vancouver/Portland area this season to offer Fundraising Night Games. During these special games, 50% of ticket revenue is immediately returned to that night’s non-profit, as well as 50% of proceeds from that night’s 50/50 raffle.
The Volcanoes finish their regular season at the end of May, with playoffs being in June. Be sure to make it out to one of the 5 remaining regular season home games to support your local Professional basketball team, the Vancouver Volcanoes. Home games are a guaranteed fun time, with fun games for kids during quarter breaks, good music, and of course, high-flying basketball action! We’ll see you there!
