Volcanoes Win Over Wenatchee Bighorns on the Road

What a game! The 5-1 Vancouver Volcanoes faced the 1-2 Wenatchee Bighorns. The Volcanes were looking to build on their 38-point win Friday Night on the road in Wenatchee. However, the Volcanoes were down as many as 10 points, and it was a close game in the third quarter. As the game entered the fourth quarter, the Volcanes pulled away while outscoring the Bighorns 33-17 in the quarter to a 107-95 win.

With the win, the Volcanoes improved their record to 6-1 and the leaders of the Pacific Northwest division. Markus Golder scored a game-high 30 points. Another player to highlight is Elijah “Boogie” Ford, who had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Volcanoes return home on April 6th at 7 PM to face the Wenatchee Bighorns. There are only six home games left in the season. Remember, home games are at Hudson’s Bay High School, and tickets are only 10 dollars for adults and five for seniors and children.
